Shoulders, twists and backbends are the focus for this little 45 minute powerhouse! Starting with fingers, wrists then shoulders we get full movement through the arms and into the upper back. We use Virhabhadrasana 1 (Warrior) for various shoulder openers and also Surya Namaskar B (sun salutes). There's a nice balance transition from crescent to Garundasana (eagle) and back to crescent... and we throw in Bakasana (Crane) for good measure. There's pause for dolphin (or pincha mayurasana - forearm balance if you're up to it...) and Ustrasana (camel) backbends make for an invigorating finish.
