Meditation encompasses a variety of techniques to train your mind and focus your awareness. From mantra recitation and guided visualization to mindfulness and breath awareness—the landscape of meditation is exciting and varied. Consistently engaging with one or more of these techniques can be profoundly impactful on its own, and is also a powerful way to deepen your yoga practice.

A heart-opening meditation that reflects on the women throughout history who have taken a stand. Tap into your strength and show gratitude with this healing visualization and journaling session. This class was previously streamed on March 8, 2021. Props Suggested: a blanket or meditation cushion and a journal.

Deepen your meditation practice by exploring a variety of modalities including a body scan, journaling, as well as guided and unguided meditation to better understand the nature of the mind through a more compassionate lens. It begins with a heartwarming tale of the teacher student relationship, then seamlessly introduces the concept of Loving Awareness Meditation and the “I am Loving Awareness” mantra. The repetition of this mantra focuses the mind while working on a cellular level to remind us that we are at one with our surroundings and that we are all part of one benevolent force. Be ready to smile, learn, and settle into a peaceful quietude. Suggested Props: 1 blanket

After warming up your spine, begin with ten minutes of breathwork to create coherence between your mind and heart. Next, relax into a guided meditation through the chakras before melting into a blissful yoga nidra. Props Suggested: Two blankets.

Learn how to use a mantra and rediscover your boundless capacity for love. Chant the mantra, Ahem Prema (I am love), silently, allowing your breath to guide you, then say it aloud, noticing the vibration of the sound.
