Jo offers over 15 years of experience in leading Vinyasa Flow classes that are devoted to creating a sacred space in which you can channel energy towards transformative and life affirming means. This is done through intention, dedication, prayer, conscious breath, sound and movements that reflect radical self care in the truth of the moment. Vinyasa is an unhurried exploratory and creative flow that is steeped in the traditions of yoga master Krishnamacharya and the yoga traditions of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga. With over 20 years of practice and devotion to the healing arts including; meditation, Shiatsu & 5 Element Theory, Energetic Bodywork, Prenatal/Post Natal yoga, Nutrition, Anatomy/Physiology and Core Shamanism; Jo brings into the practice a reverence for the mystery of life and encourages all students to practice with spontaneity by stepping into the unknown.

Yoga

Level 1-2 30 mins

This targeted practice focuses on the abdominal area to help release tension and stimulate the digestive organs. Expect a gentle flow with repetitive movements to loosen stagnation and improve abdominal function. Start with breathwork and Cat/Cow, leading into a twisty standing sequence with Warrior II, Extended Side Angle, Half Moon, and Skandasana (Side Lunge), then finish with backbends, including Sphinx and Danurasana (Bow Pose), and Cobbler’s Pose (instead of Savasana). Yoga

This Restorative practice meets you where you’re at — with physical, mental, and emotional changes — to deeply relax the nervous system and recharge your being. You’ll emphasize receptivity and openness while moving slowly through supported seated and reclined postures, no weight bearing, including Child’s Pose, Cobbler’s Pose, and Viparita Karani (Legs Up The Wall). Enjoy a long guided body scan in Savasana to finish. This class previously aired on June 15, 2025.

Yoga

Level 2-3 30 mins

Target full-body mobility to support longevity in this Vinyasa practice with varied movements, from gentle kneeling exercises to challenging standing balances. Ease in with Cat/Cow and rolling Plank to Down Dog, then explore Forward Fold to Toe Squat, Lunge to Pyramid, Dancing Warrior, Bridge, Upward Facing Bow, Thread the Needle, and Cobbler’s Pose to finish (instead of Savasana).
